It was a pleasure to return to Jacquart and the elegant surroundings of the Hôtel de Brimont. Behind the house’s fresh, contemporary vision is an exceptionally broad vineyard base: a mosaic of some sixty crus from which its vibrant, precise style can be assembled.
Pinot strength and prestige refinement
The Blanc de Noirs 2018 came from the single cru of Aÿ: firm, long and structured, yet beautifully proportioned. Alpha 2014, by contrast, expressed the house’s prestige vision through a smooth texture, layered complexity and preserved freshness.
