The afternoon began in the sunlit garden of Domaine du Chalet, Palmer’s private estate. Its calm setting and gently unfolding programme created the perfect space in which to discover the maison’s elegant, precise style from several perspectives.
Finesse by day, depth by night
The first line-up moved from the freshness of La Réserve through the citrus tension of Blanc de Blancs 2018 to the richness of Grands Terroirs 2015. At dinner, the zero-dosage La Réserve Nature, the vinous Blanc de Noirs, the more mature Amazone and the spicy Rosé Solera revealed the house’s broader spectrum.
