Guided by Didier Mariotti, we tasted not merely a sequence of rosés but deconstructed the style layer by layer. From the non-vintage wine to La Grande Dame Rosé, each expression revealed the power and finesse of Pinot Noir in a different proportion.

The red wine that gives form

Five Pinot Noir vins rouges de réserve followed, from harvests between 2018 and 2024 and terroirs including Ambonnay, Bouzy, Verzy and Aÿ. Structure, spice, elegance and tension became tangible in isolation — before reconnecting with the character of the finished rosé champagnes.

  • Four distinct expressions of Veuve Clicquot rosé
  • Five Pinot Noir reserve red wines · 2018–2024
  • The terroirs of Ambonnay, Bouzy, Verzy and Aÿ
Here, rosé is not a colour, but a carefully constructed structure and the many memories of Pinot Noir.

One of the most instructive tastings of the journey: behind the finished Champagne, the parcel, the vintage and the house’s decisions all became visible at once.
